☆ミ 80s Pencil Cases + Slouch Socks ☆ミ

 

If there is anything I haven't collected enough of lately, it's vintage pencil cases. 

Some of my favourites are made by Sanrio or Flomo.

Pencil cases from the 80s were not just a box which held your pencils.

They came disguised as other novelty items such as musical instruments, 

daily commodities, electronics, and more. 

 
  

What's really nifty is how they always had a spot for your pencils, eraser, 

paper clips, a mini five inch ruler,  magnifying glass, pencil sharpener, 

and little slots to place your pencils when you were 

using them and wanted them readily available.

Being both an artist and a collector of all things colourfully pastel and 80s, 

I just had to snag up these treasures I found today at the little warehouse by my home.

I consider myself very lucky and have a stellar eye for these things.

 Look how undeniably cute these are! A key, watch, video camera, and violin!

 

I think they mean binoculars, but you get the idea.

 

Video camera which assembles into binoculars? WOW!

 

To access the pencils on this one, you must turn the dial.

 

Moon socks + another pencil case.

The theme for this one is a Gundam video game.

 

Slouch socks! I love loose socks.

 

A blast from the past and in pastels.

I do this to regular socks, so I can't wait to wear these.

 

Silly hair clips of a little girl, gumballs, and a cupcake. 

I believe I had a lot of hair things by "Show Offs" brand when I was a child

so this was mainly for nostalgia purpose.

☆ミ Conversation Hearts Resin Jewels ☆ミ

Soon, it's time for spring and sweeter weather

(Here in Texas, it's always warm)

so you'll see me creating sweets again. 

I have been working on resin jewelry for a little bit now,

but I'm feeling more advanced with my technique.

Tried something new : embedding objects into resin pieces.
 

I used real candy conversation hearts ! How do you think?

They are perfectly sealed with resin, so nothing can eat it now!

These will be for necklace / hair clips

Tomorrow, I will have a shop update with these new treasures!

☆ミ SWIMMER Dreamy Sox and Little Gifts ☆ミ

  

Hopefully, you don't think I just shop and shop all the time! (I do, okay!)
Shopping, eating, sleeping, dancing, making sweets deco, this is it.

Really, I just haven't gotten my handmade goods ready.

So in the meantime, I like to get myself something cute.

I really love socks and sweet things and...ahhh ; w ;

Three pair of socks from SWIMMER.

They are so comfortable and cute.

This gray pair is striped and has little pink lines around the stripes.

Really, the little bows and ruffle is great!

Ankle dot socks in my favourite colour! The lace is bear print.

Had to get a close-up of the packaging. Swimmer's packaging always melts my heart.

Seriously, just look at this. Too cute!

Nail chips from Forever 21. They were so cheap and lovely! The polka dots are my favourite.

Got two body sprays as well.
One smells like Gummi Bears and the other like Cotton Candy

This lady is quite pleased to smell like cotton amirite? :-)

I think later on tonight after I finish packaging up for shipping to customers,

I will work on designing myself a cool and hip denim jacket.

I own one, but I want to make it look Spank! and cute.

Ever since Halloween, I've been feeling spooky.
