♡ matching socks and el bolillo bakery ♡

Today I found the cutest matching socks for me and Mannequin ♡♡♡

It's cool because the girl looks like that fab retro pixel art

I hope Mannequin will enjoy these!

In addition to finding cute socks, I also stopped by a Mexican bakery I was recommended.

It's called "El Bolillo" bakery and from what I saw it clean, well-stocked, busy, and smelled amazing. They had my favourite hot chocolate, Abuelita for purchase in boxes, milk, cheeses, queso fresco, chorizo, various cakes, luncheon meats in the back in a cooler, and all the sweet breads you can handle.

Lovely artwork of dancers on the wall! The whole place was so vibrant and pretty.

Cream cake! Jello! Rice pudding! Flan! Choco covered strawberries! Shortcake! O A O!!!!

There were some really fancy piping work on these and ...mango cake. So good!

Temptation in every corner haha! I normally stop by for crushed ice.

I know it's awful for my teeth but randomly I like eating it.

I really wanted to try some of the sweets there, but for today I just snapped photos,

since I'm trying to cut down my sugar intake.

I think I'll stop by next Sunday and get something small.

Laser cut necklace for Starlight Deco Dream's Mahou Kei Heroine series based on Sailor Moon's locket. This version is 1/2 scale for a more discreet daily look ~ ♪｡+｡

I chose mirror gold and pink pearl acrylic because it looked really shimmery and regal.

(The sparkles are generated with my computer, but it DOES shine!!)

You're right, Usagi! It IS so pretty.
I've only made a total of five of these. It's LIMITED!

It's 20 USD (a little pricier because of the pearl material)

The charm has a 1 1/2 inch diameter and the gold-tone chain measures 20 inches.

☾✩ pastel assassin ✩☽

This past weekend, Tristan and I made a trip to Austin to try out the food truck scene there. Needless to say, it was quite tasty and a magical experience. Since I'm writing to you on the first of the New Year, I would like to say one of my big New Years Resolution is to blog on a weekly, if not daily basis.

You might get a few photo snaps of items I'm making, photograph of my shoes, what I'm wearing, or just some general ideas. Today, I'm leaving you with photographs of my outfit from last Saturday.

I don't think it was warm enough, because it got so chilly, yet I felt super pastel cute!

One of my favourite aspects of my outfit had to have been my "FML" pastel button pin.

Sugar Mama's had a cute bench which proclaimed "Love Yourself...EAT CUPCAKES!"

They were closed so and I couldn't eat there because it would go against our rule of

"Only Eat at Food Trucks this weekend" regardless.

Lastly, I will leave you with the coolest photo of me and RUN DMC.

I'm so happy it's cool outside for another month or so.
