☆ミ Sailor Moon Mahou Kei Jewelry ☆ミ

It only took me about four months on and off with trial and error, selecting proper acrylics,

and finding a proper laser cutter, but I present to you the second in a hopefully large series of Mahou Kei items! If you haven't seen the first ones I created, take a look.

This necklace is based off of the locket Usagi uses to change into one of my favourite

magical girls : Sailor Moon! It's even to scale with the original ~ ♪｡+｡

It is made from laser cut pearl and mirror acrylic with faux pearl cabochon accents.

The locket pendant itself has a 3 inch diameter while the gold-tone chain is 24 inches.

 Wear this necklace and you can pay tribute to the child in you,

fighting evil by the moonlight and winning love by daylight!

I can't guarantee you will transform into Sailor Moon with this necklace,

but you will feel a little more magical throughout your day! ♥ ♥

I really love the contrast of the mirror gold finish and the pearlescent pink.

 

In addition to the Sailor Moon's "R" locket

I also created the COSMIC CRESCENT WAND.

This is first in a series of Magical Girl weapons I'm creating.

Boy, was I so sad when this one was broken in the anime!

"Mahou Kei" is Japanese for Magical Style. MK specializes in dreamy fairytale wigs and magical memorabilia suited for sweet lolita & fairy kei fashion as well as 80s fans! 

All wigs are designed by Candy Melange (me!) of Starlight Deco Dream.

"Uchuu" is more of a punky look.We need more magical girls with short hair!

It's totally retro, yet it makes sense! Who can battle evil with hair which weighs them down?

When I originally wanted to create my own jewelry designs, I thought of a cute idea for items

inspired by and based on classic magical girl series of the 80s and 90s I grew up with.

I would call these designs and style "Mahou Kei" (literally Magic Style in Japanese.)

My first completed piece in the magical girl series is Creamy Mami's locket.
